A BIT MORE ABOUT US

Meet Rochelle

Depending on the services you have chosen, I provide continuous, compassionate support through labor and birth, postpartum recovery, and abortion or loss, with the goal of ensuring a safe, informed, and supported experience.

I am a Certified Birth Doula through DONA International, trained in abortion and loss support through The Spiral Collective, and certified in postpartum care by Modern Doula Care. I have also trained with Tracie Collins of the National Black Doula Association in Placenta Encapsulation and Tinctures, and I hold a Massage Therapy certification from Northwestern Health Sciences University.

As a birthworker and bodyworker, I draw on my professional training and experience to offer emotional support, physical comfort, and clear communication, ensuring you have the information needed to make informed decisions as situations arise.

During labor, I provide reassurance and perspective to you and your partner, offer suggestions to support labor progress, and assist with relaxation, massage, positioning, and other comfort techniques. I also support your chosen partner by educating them on ways to provide effective physical and emotional care. I am on-call 24/7, beginning between 38–42 weeks or two weeks before and after your estimated due date, depending on your care plan.

A BIT MORE ABOUT US

Meet Rochelle

Rochelle Vincent is a Registered Nurse and Full Spectrum Birth & Bodyworker. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She currently practices Full Spectrum Birthwork and Bodywork in Minneapolis, MN.
Rochelle aims to provide care that is radical, compassionate, inclusive, trauma-informed, client-and healing-centered across all pregnancy outcomes and experiences. When Rochelle isn’t practicing care work, you can find her traveling, sharing cups of overpriced coffee with friends, having full body laughs with family, dilly-dallying in nature or practicing photography.

We believe that everyone who seeks a doula should have one. We are dedicated to providing care that is radical, compassionate, inclusive, trauma-informed, client- and healing-centered across all pregnancy outcomes and experiences.
